In my group the height did not effect the size of the drop very much. the purpose of multipul drops is to make sure you are accurate so if you are off the first time then you can do another drop and be more accurate.
Like i said before the height of the pipette did not really effect our group to much. But maybe the higher you went the bigger the diameter of the the blood drop would be. I don't think i can accurately infer the height of a blood spatter drop from the diameter because the data was to close in numbers to infer anything.
